the Can of Worms Enterprises organisation provides consulting services to publishers and other internet and over the air broadcast media companies; provides graphic design services; is now publishing titles of its own under the Can of Worms Press imprint and will be shortly publishing some children's titles under the Kids Press imprimatur and packages books under its Can of Worms Publishing umbrella. Can of Worms Enterprises is also involved in both music and film interests. Tobias
Steed was also co-founder of Compass American Guides (now wholly
owned by Fodor's Travel Publications, Random House, NY) which he and
his partners sold to Random House in 1992. Following a period as Associate
Publisher of Foor's and Director of New Media Tobias returned to England
to work for Rupert Murdoch's News International until 1999. |

Can of Worms has also been busy recently expanding the Graphic Shakespeare series with two new titles: Macbeth and King Lear. And soon to be ready for Christmas, The Borough Market Cookbook: Meat and Fish written by Sarah Freeman, Sarha Leahey-Benjamin, with superb black and white duotones of the farmers and producers working in their home landscapes. The book has been designed by Catherine Dixon, lecturer at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and illustrated by Emma Lofstrom the V&A Student Illustrator of the Year 2006.
